Excentral Tempest

i am excentral tempest, a young poet and rapper from south east london. i have been performing for the last 4 years, at spoken word, poetry and hip hop nights, also at a load of festivals (from big green gathering and sunrise celebration to Latitude and Bestival), at protests and peace marches, and at squat parties and raves in airport hangars. i have performed solo as a poet, with my producer as a rapper and fronting a 9-piece band (zingaro), and a 16 pieceband (the new cross philharmonic orchestra). Presently i am collaborating with film production company ‘platform 21′, who are making a short film inspired by one of my lyrics, i am also writing and recording new material for my debut album, finishing my degree in english literature, and writing an opera for 7 parts in rhyme. i am really looking forward to working with the onetaste collective, as the collective includes some of the most inspiring and talented poets and musicians i have had the pleasure of seeing perform.
